No referral is required for private appointments. If you have a Medicare care plan from your GP, please let us know when you enquire.
Yes. We provide diabetic foot assessments and ongoing foot care. Regular podiatry is an important part of managing foot health when living with diabetes.
Fees depend on the type of visit and any funding you may use. Please contact us by phone or email and we will discuss pricing with you directly.
Regular podiatry care is recommended every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows for ongoing treatment and monitoring so minor issues are less likely to become major ones.
We can, however additional charges apply for fingernail care as part of a podiatry visit.
No. We bring all equipment required and ensure we leave your home clean and tidy. You just need a comfortable place to sit. We can also treat people who are unable to get out of bed.
Yes, in some cases you may be entitled to a rebate under Medicare if your GP has completed a care plan assigned to Best Choice Podiatry. We do not bulk bill care plans for home visits.
